// ABOUT

A software shop that
talks straight.

Bitcraft is me; Tucker. A software engineer in Mesa building the websites and tools that businesses around the East Valley actually rely on. No sales team, no hype, no mystery invoices. Just work done right by the person who answers your email.

// 01 THE STORY

[ Why Bitcraft Exists ]

I spent years in the corporate world, writing software, working in robotics, and running IT for a contact center that supported customer service for big-name brands. I learned a lot. I also learned that it's gotten genuinely hard to tell what's true from what's PR.

What wore me down wasn't the work, it was the layers. Layers of management between the people with the problem and the people who could fix it. And a constant pull to chase whatever was hyped that quarter, whether or not it was what the customer actually needed.

I'm not a corporate-minded person. I wanted room for my own ideas and a chance to point my skills at the people right here in my area. For local businesses that deserve software done properly, from someone they can actually reach. So I started Bitcraft.

Now it's just me and the work. That's the whole point.

"Software should be a force multiplier. Not a liability you inherit."

Founder & Engineer

Software and systems engineer. Happiest deep in backend and embedded work, but just as invested in a clean, beautiful UX. Runs on curiosity, first principles, and an unreasonable amount of coffee.

// 02 HOW I WORK

[ What You Can Count On ]

A short list, and I actually mean it. This is the whole reason Bitcraft exists.

01

I talk straight

No moon-and-stars promises. I tell you what a project actually needs, what it doesn't, and what it'll cost; before you commit a dollar.

02

The right tool, not the trendy one

AI is great and I use it every day, but a lot of the time all you need is a simple algorithm done well. I pick what solves your problem, not what looks good in a pitch.

03

You talk to the person building it

No layers of project managers between you and the code. When you email Bitcraft, you get me.

04

Boring where it counts

Reliable, proven fundamentals under the hood. I save the clever stuff for the places where it actually matters; like a UX you're proud to show your customers.

// 03 THE NAME

[ Why 'Bitcraft' ]

A bit is the smallest unit in computing. Just a single one or zero. Everything you've ever done on a screen is, underneath it all, just an enormous pile of them arranged the right way.

Learning to arrange those ones and zeros, to bend the smallest pieces into something genuinely useful, is what pulled me into software in the first place. That's the craft. That's Bitcraft.

And Bit, the little character you'll see around the site? That's the mascot. Consider it the friendly face on all those ones and zeros.

The smallest pieces, arranged with care.

// LET'S TALK

Finally, someone who talks straight.

Tell me what you're trying to build or fix. You'll get an honest answer, a fixed quote, and a free mockup before you commit to anything. That's it.
